CM Punk is well and truly back with WWE after returning at Saturday night’s Survivor Series premium live event. Currently, he is set to work a program with current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, which could last until WrestleMania 40. Yet, it appears the company already has longer-term plans for Punk, as Sports Illustrated has reported that he will be feuding with the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the future.
“There are plans for Punk to feud with Roman Reigns, Sports Illustrated has learned. But it will not be Punk against Reigns first, as that spot belongs to Rollins.”
SI.comJust three months ago, it seemed unbelievable that Punk would ever work for WWE again. That could have easily seen Punk leave the wrestling business for good, but with serious money to be made by returning to WWE, the unbelievable actually happened.
