When it was announced in April that former UFC fighter Paige VanZant would be facing adult actress Elle Brooke in a boxing match for Misfits Boxing, most thought it would be a very one-sided contest. However, these people were proven very wrong on Saturday night when the English OnlyFans model floored her far more experienced opponent and, in the process, secured a split decision draw. Subsequently, a rematch was announced for later this year, although some online are now questioning VanZant’s commitment to combat sports.
While a big name in MMA and bare-knuckle boxing, most pro wrestling fans will know VanZant best for her brief yet memorable run in AEW. Yet despite currently still appearing on the promotion’s official roster page, it was recently reported by Dave Mltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that she is no longer with Tony Khan’s company due to changing her mind about being a pro wrestler.
