AC/DC have been on the road the better part of the last two years in support of their 2020 album “Power Up.” The band currently consists of singer Brian Johnson, lead guitarist Angus Young, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, bassist Chris Chaney and drummer Matt Laug.

The band has had some issues in recent years most notably when Johnson had to step away from the band’s “Rock Or Bust” tour to deal with a hearing issue. Thankfully he was able to return for the band’s latest album and tour, however, longtime bassist Cliff Williams recently retired. Longtime drummer Phil Rudd, also appeared on “Power Up,” but is not with the band on tour presumably due to passport issues that arose following a 2014 arrest in New Zealand.

AC/DC is about to embark on the last leg of the “Power Up” tour, and a promo advertising the trek has many fans wondering if the band is nearing its end. “Something’s coming,” Johnson can be heard in the promo. “We’re ready for one more round. Revving up our engines. We’re coming to power up for one last time.”

While many fans think that “power up for one last time” is referencing the end of the tour, there’s been a great deal of speculation that it could mean AC/DC is going to call it quits. Johnson is 78 years old, and Angus Young is 71.
