Second-Generation Pro Wrestler Comments After Winning Her Power Slap Debut

Indie wrestling doesn’t pay much unless you’ve had a significant spell on national television, so plenty of up-and-coming talents also have side hustles. This has therefore seen several indie wrestlers recently agree to compete in Dana White’s controversial Power Slap competition, with one of the bigger names having signed up, HollyHood Haley J defeating Jayme Hinshaw on Friday night.

The 25-year-old, who has previously wrestled for AEW, would only need two slaps to win her debut slap fight, and took just one herself, which will please those who worry about the long-term effects of participating in Power Slap. And now Haley H has taken to X to address those who doubted her, saying, “I’ll prove you wrong every mf time.

Second-generation wrestler Haley J is the daughter of fellow independent pro wrestler Amazing Maria, and they regularly team on the independents. She would break into the business in 2020 and quickly became a regular for Ohio Valley Wrestling, leading to her becoming part of the Netflix series “Wrestlers.” Subsequently, she was invited to attend a WWE tryout at the Performance Center. It was later revealed that she was forced to pull out at the last minute, with it believed that her having epilepsy was the reason.
