However, despite this, and the pair having never worked together, Riddle has chosen Punk’s WWE return as an opportunity to take a shot at the former AEW star by noting his UFC record on X. Still, most fans in the comments appear to be backing Punk, with the current most liked response being “Funny, 0-2 is also your wellness policy record.“
Punk’s UFC career has ultimately gone down as a letdown, although it is known via newly unsealed UFC lawsuit documents that he was paid a jaw-dropping $1,042,736 for his 2016 submission loss to Mickey Gall, which likely took the sting out of the defeat. Additionally, while he did initially lose his second match in 2018 to Mike Jackson via unanimous decision, the result was later overturned, and the fight was declared a no-contest after Jackson failed a drug test. Therefore, Punk’s official record is actually 0-1-1, not 0-2 as Riddle claimed.
