Yuvraj Dhesi, best known to wrestling fans as Jinder Mahal, was released by WWE for a second time on April 19th. Yet, despite him still having plenty of time remaining before he can legally work elsewhere, those who keep track of trademark applications have noticed he isn’t wasting any time and has filed trademark applications for both “Raj Dhesi” and “The Maharaja.” This seemingly confirms that he intends to use one or both of these names in the future.
Dhesi’s WWE career was a unique one. This is because he held the promotion’s top championship for an impressive 170 days, securing his place in pro wrestling history. However, at times, he also experienced long periods between victories, a fact that has led some fans to call him one of the worst choices for a world champion ever. Still, at 37 years of age, he has ample time to silence his critics and prove his worth to another company.
