Shortly after, it was announced that Sin Cara had been released, WWE would also reveal Luke Harper has also been released from his contract.

He had requested his release earlier this year, and WWE declined because they feared he would go to AEW. Then to add insult to injury, they added the time he had missed with injury to his contract taking his expiry date from November 2019 to April 2020.
He has been preparing for life after WWE by trademarking his previous indie name Brodie Lee on November 26th.
It isn’t known if there were any clauses in his release, or if he will have to wait 90 days to compete, but it is expected he’ll be in AEW and/or New Japan sooner rather than later.
