AEW management decided to not renew Leva Bates’ contract when it expired seven months ago, and she subsequently departed the promotion. Since then, she has been attempting to get into acting and has now revealed on social media that she is a contestant on the new Netflix show “Squid Game: The Challenge,” which is based on the hit South Korean series. However, based on her post, it appears she filmed the series while still with AEW.

Leva BatesWhile best known to fans for her time in AEW, where she wrestled 25 matches, Bates, whom the Dudley Boyz trained, did work for WWE on their NXT brand between 2014 and 2015, initially as an enhancement talent and Rosebud, before becoming named “Blue Pants.” Ultimately, she became a cult favorite to the degree that it was a shock when she departed the company.
