Brian Knobs Rushed To Hospital With Stomach Issues

Two years ago, Brian Knobs of Nasty Boys fame was bedbound in hospital due to a knee infection. Sadly, it’s now been revealed that he has again been hospitalized, with him needing to be rushed to the emergency room via ambulance on Tuesday due to suffering from stomach issues. The belief is he will reside in the hospital for the next few months, and a GoFundMe has already been launched to help cover his medical bills and required knee surgery due to him only having limited medical insurance. As of writing, a total of $8,147 has been raised towards a goal of $20,000 from 97 donors.

Knobs’ wrestling career began in 1985 as part of AWA and his mainstream run pretty much ended following his departure from WCW in 2000. Along with tag partner Jerry Sags, he would get a tryout ahead of a potential WWE return in 2007, but those in attendance said the march didn’t go well, and WWE didn’t follow up. His last hurrah came in 2010 following his longtime friend Hulk Hogan signing with TNA. The duo would join him there for a feud with Team 3D before leaving the promotion after an altercation at a TNA function which Spike TV executives observed. Since then, the 57-year-old has been wrestling on the independents and autograph signings at conventions. However, that ended in 2019 when his knee issues severely limited his mobility.
