WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley has opened up about a disturbing privacy breach by an overzealous fan. During a recent Twitch stream with King Kreas, she revealed that someone had obtained her private phone number and sent multiple texts requesting a personal meetup after failing to secure SmackDown tickets. Ripley also acknowledged a previous incident in which a different fan had shown up uninvited at her home, which, when first reported, reignited widespread calls for greater respect for wrestlers’ personal boundaries and privacy outside the ring.
“Yeah, all the time. Especially when people walk up to my f*cking house. And text me on my actual mobile phone. I won’t say how but someone found my phone number and they text me the other day, wanting me to see them cause they couldn’t buy tickets to SmackDown. It baffles me, it really does. Like there’s no privacy anywhere.” – Rhea Ripley
Ripley’s experience is unfortunately part of a troubling pattern in WWE. Sonya Deville survived a terrifying 2020 home invasion by an armed stalker charged with attempted kidnapping. Liv Morgan faced an attempted break-in at her home in 2025, while Alexa Bliss received threats against her husband. Other stars such as Paige and Roxanne Perez have also endured unwanted visits, secret filming, and persistent harassment. These alarming cases have prompted WWE to strengthen security measures to protect its talent from invasive fans.
