In unfortunate news, PWInsider.com has reported that WWE Superstar Raquel Rodriguez has been removed from the promotion’s active roster. Precisely why this has occurred isn’t currently known; however, as she disclosed earlier this year that she had been diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, it’s speculated she may be dealing with a flare-up. For those unaware, this condition is related to the immune system, and the symptoms include swelling, hives, low blood pressure, difficulty breathing, and diarrhea.
“Raquel Rodriguez has been pulled from the active WWE roster, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources. She is currently listed internally with other talents who are out of action.”
PWInsider.com33-year-old Rodriguez began her sporting career via college basketball and signed with WWE in 2016 after a short period on the indies. Subsequently, she was introduced to WWE fans via NXT and was soon being described as a future star due to her size and strength. Her career highlight would then come in 2021 when she won the NXT Women’s Championship from Io Shirai, although since joining the main roster, she has yet to reach the same lofty heights.
