In the latest issue of Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the journalist reported the news that Dominik Mysterio had an elbow injury and required surgery. However, the Judgment Day member has now taken to X to deny this, saying, “No surgery for this guy…” along with a gif from Wolf of Wall Street, which shows Leonardo DiCaprio’s character saying, “I’m not f*cking leaving.” How Meltzer got his info wrong is currently unknown, but this is great for Mysterio’s fans, with it now appearing that his injury isn’t as severe as many feared.
Third-generation wrestler Dominik’s first exposure to the masses was back in 205 when his father, Rey Mysterio, fought Eddie Guerrero over his custody, with the storyline being that Guerrero believed he was Dominik’s real dad. Subsequently, 13 years later, Dominik would follow in his legendary father’s footsteps and began training to wrestle. This would lead to him being heavily featured on WWE television alongside his father, although his career went up a level after he turned heel and joined The Judgment Day.
