WWE Hall Of Famer Claims John Laurinaitis Was Racist Towards Him

John Laurinaitis’ career in pro wrestling is effectively over after he was named in Janel Grant’s shocking lawsuit earlier this year, which, considering he was one of the most powerful men in the business, not many people saw coming. And now, during a recent interview with Bill Apter, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long has spoken about his time working alongside the disgraced executive, not only calling him “one of the worst pieces of sh*t on this planet” but also alleging he discriminated against him because of his skin color.

“I don’t hold my tongue back on John Laurinaitis, one of the worst pieces of sh*t on this planet, and you can do what you want to me; you can sue me all you want to, ain’t nothing you’re gonna get except ‘holla, holla, holla.’

He is a man that’s going to stop me from making a living because of the color of my skin, not because I wasn’t doing my job. So, you’re gonna tell me that I did my job, the face of that TV for nine years, and you know what I’m saying? Lemme stop.

61-year-old Laurinaitis started wrestling in 1986 under the name Johnny Ace, and while he never achieved the success of his brother Road Warrior Animal, he had a notable career in Japan. Then, following his in-ring retirement in 2000, he began working for WCW in a backstage capacity, which led him to join WWE when Vince McMahon purchased the company. Still, his long spell with the company ended in 2022 when he was fired after the initial misconduct claims against him and McMahon first became public knowledge.
