Who Brock Lesnar Was Going To Wrestle At Elimination Chamber Revealed

Last week, Brock Lesnar was implicated in the shocking sexual assault lawsuit filed against Vince McMahon, with it alleged he intended to set up a “play date” with the victim. Subsequently, WWE pulled him from the men’s Royal Rumble match, with it since confirmed that Bron Breakker took his spot and even performed his planned eliminations due to the match already being scripted.

And now it has been reported by POST Wrestling that had Lesnar not been withdrawn at the last minute, he was set to wrestle Dominik Mysterio at Elimination Chamber next month, as the Judgment Day member was going to eliminate him from the Rumble match. Whether Breakker will instead face Mysterio remains to be seen, but with him seemingly confirming he was on the main roster by saying post-match that “this is my home now,” it is possible.

“A source with knowledge of the upcoming creative plans informed POST Wrestling that Lesnar was set to work with Dominik at the Elimination Chamber event on February 24 in Perth, Western Australia.”

The 46-year-old former UFC star returned to WWE in 2012, having previously quit the company almost a decade earlier. Since then, he was established as one of the company’s top stars ever, despite only wrestling part-time. Yet, there now seems to be a genuine possibility that his time with WWE, and thus likely, the pro wrestling industry, could be over, especially if he is further incriminated in McMahon’s scandal.
