Which NXT Talents WWE Are Discussing For The Main Roster Have Been Named

It was recently announced that WWE’s next draft will be held on April 26 and April 29, and with it suspected that main roster talents are going to be eligible to join NXT for the first time, there is the potential for some massive changes to rosters. Still, as usual, NXT talents deemed ready for the big stage will get to join the main roster, and Fightful Select has now reported that Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov are considered “a lock” to be called up. Additionally it was noted that Roxanne Perez, Tony D’Angelo’s Family, and Baron Corbin could also be joining them.

“Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov are said to be “a lock” for RAW or SmackDown in the draft, while Roxanne Perez’s status for the draft still remains up in the air despite on television teases. Elsewhere in NXT, Tony D’Angelo’s Family and Baron Corbin have been discussed as possible additions to RAW or SmackDown.”

The WWE Draft, also known as the WWE Superstar Shake-up and WWE Draft Lottery, was first introduced in 2002 to facilitate the Raw and SmackDown brand split. From then on, it became an annual part of WWE’s programming, taking place most years and seeing some significant storyline changes. And while, at times, it has caused confusion due to champions switching shows, ultimately, it is considered necessary to keep WWE content fresh.
