And now, in regrettable news, Fightful Select has reported that she needs surgery. Therefore, not only will she miss several months from the ring, but WWE’s creative team will also need to reshuffle their plans due to Morgan being so prominently featured.
31-year-old Morgan, real name is Gionna Daddio, signed with WWE in 2014 despite having no previous experience other than being a fan. Nevertheless, the former Hooters waitress would put in the work, and this saw her rewarded with a run as WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion after cashing in her Money In The Bank contract on Ronda Rousey. However, her career has since reached new heights after turning heel and aligning with Dominik Mysterio, meaning her absence from WWE television will be very noticeable.
