Former WWE star Zelina Vega has officially begun her post-WWE journey under a brand-new ring name. Released in April 2026 and now a free agent, Thea Trinidad released a cinematic vignette that revisits her path from passionate wrestling fan to established performer. The video culminates in the debut of “Xelina,” a name she trademarked only days earlier. In an accompanying message, she thanked supporters for following her as Zelina Vega and invited them to join her in what she calls her most exciting chapter yet.
Thea Trinidad has developed a versatile career across TNA and WWE. She first stood out as Rosita in TNA and won Knockouts Tag Team Championship gold. Upon arriving in WWE, she initially managed Andrade before evolving into a full-time competitor. Key accomplishments include capturing the first Queen’s Crown Tournament in 2021, the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles with Carmella, and the Women’s United States Championship in 2025.
