After having a defibrillator fitted into his chest, Triple H was unfortunately forced to retire from the ring, ending a legendary career with little fanfare. And now, during the latest episode of her podcast, Triple H’s wife of over two decades, Stephanie McMahon, has publicly spoken about the heart issue which almost made her a widow, morbidly revealing “I always had a feeling that I was going to lose him early.”
Why Stephanie had this feeling wasn’t disclosed, but given that so many wrestlers Triple H shared a ring with, such as Test, Eddie Guerrero, The Big Bossman, The British Bulldog, Hawk, and Animal, all died prematurely, that likely played a part. Still, it now appears that Triple H has many years ahead of him, and while he can no longer wrestle, he is arguably featured more prominently now than when he was competing, having taken over as the business face of WWE from Vince McMahon.
