If you follow Saraya on social media, you’ll see she is a regular on the conversation circuit, and at least a couple of times a month, she spends time with fans. Yet, in some unfortunate news, New Jersey-based Monster Mania has posted a video they received at 3 am from her, announcing she wouldn’t be attending due to an emergency.
The belief is the British star had to pull out due to her pitbull, Lobster, being unwell, with it known from an Instagram post earlier in the week that he had been coughing up blood.
After Saraya departed AEW by mutual agreement, many assumed she was heading back to WWE, where she found fame as Paige. However, after she didn’t appear at the all-women event, Evolution, it was reported that the company had no interest in rehiring the 32-year-old. What this means for her long-term wrestling future is now unclear, although having been one of WWE’s biggest ever female talents, it’s doubtful she’ll ever be short of indie or convention bookings.
