Last summer at Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne’s “Back To The Beginning” farewell concert, Slipknot’s Sid Wilson proposed to his longtime girlfriend and Ozzy’s daughter, Kelly. It was a heartwarming moment that caught Kelly by surprise and went viral for the humorous interaction between Wilson and Ozzy.
Sid started his proposal: “Kelly, you know I love you more than anything in the world. Then Ozzy jokingly interrupted, “F*ck off. You’re not marrying my daughter.”
After a quick laugh Wilson continued saying, “Nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life with you. So, in front of your family and all of our friends, Kelly, will you marry me?” Kelly nodded yes while several who witnessed the moment erupted into cheers.
Sadly, however, TMZ has now reported that Wilson and Kelly have ended their engagement. TMZ reports: “A source tells Daily Mail the couple split amid Kelly’s ‘incredibly difficult’ time dealing with the loss of her father, Ozzy Osbourne, who passed in July 2025.” The couple also share a 3-year-old son, Sidney.
Recently, fans became concerned with Kelly’s noticeably slimmer frame when she appeared with her mother Sharon to accept a Lifetime Achievement Award for Ozzy at The BRIT Awards. She shot back at online criticism saying: “There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something. Kicking me while I’m down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most. None of it proves strength; it only reveals a profound absence of compassion and character. I’m currently going through the hardest time in my life. I should not even have to defend myself. But I won’t sit here and allow myself to be dehumanized in such a way.”
