Ric Flair Confirms If He’ll Wrestle Again

Ric Flair had a very hyped final match in 2022, promising at the time he would step away from in-ring action following this. Still, despite having suffered a heart attack during this match, Flair has regularly teased wrestling again, very much to the dismay of the vast majority of wrestling fans.

However, after fans recently suggested on social media that he wrestles Bronsen Reed, the injured WWE star would reply, “Y’all really wanna watch someone die?” And now indicating he has only been threatening to wrestle again for attention, Flair has now confirmed on X that there’ll be “No return to the ring ever” while acknowledging he is aware of the Australian’s remarks, saying he “couldn’t Tsunami me on his best day.”

While Flair was heavily condemned for wrestling in his 70s with known health issues, he gleefully responded to his critics by reasoning he was paid a whopping $300,000 for the 26-minute tag match. And considering the show was available on pay-per-view and drew 6,800 fans for a live gate of $448,502, this is very believable. Yet, with Flair’s performance being nowhere near his 1980s prime, it is doubtful another match would draw anywhere near the same attention, meaning Flair would be risking his health for less money than he typically makes from an endorsement deal.
