On the latest episode of Extreme Life With Matt Hardy, Hardy would go on to defend The Elite for their part in the All Out backstage altercation. However, the big talking point on social media was that Hardy made it sound like he was in attendance and witnessed the fight between The Elite, CM Punk, and Ace Steel. Subsequently, he felt the need to clarify his comments via Twitter.
However, while Matt clearly wanted to take the high road given the circumstances, his wife Reby didn’t feel the same, as she would quote tweet her husband, adding, “F*ck CM Punk.” Which truth be told is likely how many wrestlers and fans currently feel about the injured star, given how he’s blamed by many for what occurred following the pay-per-view.
Reby Hardy has never shied away from controversy and is one of the most outspoken people in the whole wrestling industry. Going as far as to publicly call out AEW management for how her husband was treated following a potential concussion at All Out in 2020. Additionally, she would appear to celebrate the death of one of Matt’s former girlfriends, Ashley Massaro, just an hour after news broke of her tragic passing. Therefore in comparison, her take on CM Punk is relatively tame.
