After a brief stint on the independent circuit, he signed with WWE in 2021 and debuted on NXT as the charismatic “Don of NXT,” complete with his signature mafia-inspired persona. Leading the D’Angelo Family stable, he captured two NXT Tag Team Championships with Stacks Lorenzo, the Heritage Cup, and the North American Title. In April 2026, he reached the pinnacle by winning the NXT Championship in a fatal four-way match at Stand & Deliver, becoming the first NXT Grand Slam Champion and the third Triple Crown winner in NXT history.
