In recent months, Karrion Kross has been building a sizable following among fans on social media, which seemingly played a part in him getting to wrestle on his first PLE since WrestleMania XL this past weekend. However, it appears the fact that Kross got to work Night of Champions against Sami Zayn wasn’t enough for some fans.
This is because the match’s highlight video on YouTube shows 5.7K dislikes versus 5.5K likes, with fans voicing their disappointment in the comments over the fact that the former Final Testament member lost.
In early June, Fightful Select reported that 39-year-old Kross only has a few months remaining on his current deal and had not yet been approached about extending it. Therefore, it appears Kross is fighting for his and his real-life wife Scarlett’s long-term WWE future and needs as much fun support as possible.
