Back in January, MVP was a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble match, and the following night he wrestled on Raw losing to Rey Mysterio. It was believed these appearances were his swansong, but WWE brought him back to be a backstage producer and host his “VIP Lounge” segment On Raw. Soon afterward, he aligned himself with Bobby Lashley becoming known as the Hurt Business, and they’d become a significant part of Raw.
MVP’s remarkable comeback is now complete because he has confirmed on Instagram he has signed a multi-year deal with WWE.
At 46 years of age and having been away from WWE for a decade, the idea of MVP having another meaningful run with the company seemed far-fetched. He has shown that if you take your opportunities and impress the right people, anything can happen.
