Multiple Impact Wrestling Talents Are Thought To Have Finished With The Promotion This Weekend

When Ring of Honor under Sinclair Broadcasting’s ownership went on hiatus, all their contracted wrestlers became free agents. And subsequently, Impact Wrestling would capitalize by bringing in PCO, Matt Taven, Maria Kanellis, Mike Bennett, and Vincent as Honor No More, with Kenny King and Eddie Edwards later joining. Now though, nine months later, it appears the group is no more. As following this weekend’s post-Bound For Glory tapings, where Edwards called Honor No More failures after Taven and Bennett lost their tag titles to Heath and Rhino, PWInsider.com has reported that four of the original members have departed. With it thought, based on other sources, that their contracts were up.

Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Maria Kanellis and Vincent are all believed to have completed their Impact Wrestling run this weekend.

What the future holds for all four individuals is unknown, as it isn’t clear whether Impact Wrestling simply didn’t want to extend or felt there are better opportunities elsewhere. With ROH Tony Khan now owning ROH and Triple H in charge of WWE’s talent relations. However, while they did make a good heel faction in Impact Wrestling, there is no guarantee all four will remain together, with Maria and Bennett being the only two known to WWE audiences. Therefore it’s possible that the upcoming episodes of Impact Wrestling on AXS will be the last time fans see them all together.
