Rhea Ripley is one of WWE’s biggest stars but is currently sidelined after injuring her AC joint during a backstage angle with Liv Morgan. Precisely how long she’ll be out of the ring for is yet to be confirmed, but it is hoped she’ll be back sooner rather than later. Yet, proving The Judgment Day member can still grab fans’ attention, a photograph taken at Publix of her alongside a fan has gone viral.
However, in this instance, it isn’t because of one of her revealing outfits or provocative poses but because eagled-eyed social media users spotted her fiancé and fellow pro wrestler Buddy Matthews watching on in the background. Whether the fan simply didn’t see the AEW talent or only wanted a photo with Ripley isn’t clear, but it is amusing seeing him there nonetheless.
27-year-old Ripley, real name Demi Bennett, signed with WWE in 2017, and after impressing during runs in NXT UK and NXT, received her main roster call-up in 2021. Since then, she has been presented as one of the most prominent women on the roster and even main evented WWE’s Elimination Chamber event in February. And while she sadly had to vacate the Women’s World Championship after a record-equalling 380-day reign, it seems inevitable the Australian will get another run with the title.
