It was stated that Hulk Hogan’s funeral was his final sell-out, with dozens of wrestling personalities and celebrities, including Vince McMahon, Triple H, Ric Flair, Bam Margera, Theo Von, and Kid Rock, in attendance. However, it has now been claimed by B. Brian Blair, during a now-deleted podcast appearance, that there was an ugly incident at one point with Missy Beefcake calling Linda Hogan a “c*nt.” According to the tag team specialist, this resulted in Missy and her husband, Brutus Beefcake, being thrown out, which would be shocking if accurate.
Still, it appears that may not have been the case, as according to Missy, who has wasted no time in replying to the claim by Blair, it was Linda who instigated things, and they only went outside as Brutus was having a panic attack. Which version is accurate remains to be seen, but with so many people attending, it’s likely more will come out regarding the incident.
Hulk Hogan and Brutus Beefcake were as close as two wrestlers could be, traveling the world together dozens of times. Yet, after Hogan made inappropriate comments in front of Beefcake’s wife, the pair would fall out and go their separate ways. Therefore, it was somewhat surprising that they would attend Hogan’s funeral, although Beefcake did reveal in the days following Hogan’s passing that he wanted to reconcile with his former best friend.
