Mike Tyson Is All Elite

Mike Tyson Is All Elite

“Iron” Mike Tyson has been in the news lately after announcing he looking to make a comeback to the ring, and it seems like All Elite Wrestling is looking to capitalize on the publicity by booking him to appear at their Double or Nothing PPV. The 53-year-old former world heavyweight champion will present the inaugural TNT Championship to the winner of Cody Rhodes vs. Lance Archer on the May 23rd event.

Mike Tyson is a WWE Hall Of Famer, so this news is likely to anger Vince McMahon who brought Tyson into the company in 1998 to serve as a special guest enforcer for the WrestleMania 14 main event of Shawn Michaels vs. Steve Austin, where Tyson famously landed Michaels with a punch after the match.

Tyson would then again return to the promotion in 2010 as a guest host of Raw, where he would also team with our very own Chris Jericho against DX. He would turn on Jericho by revealing a DX shirt and knocking out Jericho so Michaels could get the victory.

In 2012 WWE honored Tyson by having DX induct him into the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012, and Tyson would also be a playable character in that year’s video game, WWE ’13.
