Wednesday morning started with a report by Cultaholic stating that former WWE talent Matt Riddle had no-showed a charity show in the UK he was booked to headline. Additionally, it was noted that he hadn’t returned his deposit, which obviously made him look awful.

However, he has now shared two profanity-filled videos on X where he gives his side of the story, claiming his flight was for the wrong day, and for some reason, he also acknowledged the past #SpeakingOut allegations made towards him in 2020.

“The reason I didn’t go is because you booked me a flight for Thursday for a show that was happening Sunday, and you said you were booking me meet-and-greets, other matches and appearances. You did none of that … I never said I wouldn’t pay you guys back. That’s a lie. Also, this show wasn’t a charity event. That’s a lie. That was a last second change. You also booked me the worst flight in history, bro. Middle seat, no meal, no checked bag.”Matt Riddle

“You know, I could explain everything in great detail. I’m not lying, but I really don’t give a f*ck anymore. For those unaware, the “b*llshit” Riddle is talking about is a troubling allegation made in 2020 during the #SpeakingOut movement by independent wrestler Candy Cartwright. And while Riddle admitted to having an affair with her, he claims everything that occurred in their relationship was completely consensual. Still, this caused a significant strain on Riddle’s marriage, and not long after, it would be confirmed that he and his longtime partner, Lisa, had officially divorced.
