Marty Jannetty Makes First Statement After Life-Changing Amputation

WWE legend Marty Jannetty has broken his silence with an emotional first public update following his below-the-knee amputation in April. The former Rockers star took to Facebook to express profound gratitude toward Brian Blair and the Cauliflower Alley Club for their generous support during his difficult recovery, noting that insurance covered only a portion of the costs. Jannetty credited the organization’s compassion and timely assistance for helping him through this challenging chapter, while promising to return the favor whenever possible.

As many of you all know, Ive recntly had to undergo an amputation. The very first thing I must do is thank Brian Blair and his GREAT staff at the Cauliflower Alley Club or CAC. Theyve showed me quite a lot of love and compassion for my situation. Without their help I dont think I would’ve gotten through this very tough time in my life. Insurance only covers so much so I definitely needed their help. And of course if ever a time comes when I can do something for them I’M THERE!!! Thanx again CAC.– Marty Jannetty

The Cauliflower Alley Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in 1965 in Los Angeles by Mike Mazurki and Art Abrams. Named for the signature “cauliflower ears” acquired in the ring, the club began as a place for casual gatherings that fostered camaraderie among wrestlers and boxers. It achieved non-profit status in 1977 and reorganized in 1980 to emphasize charitable aid. Today, the CAC delivers vital financial assistance and honors legends, thanks to its popular annual reunions that now draw crowds in Las Vegas.
