Karrion Kross is currently the most spoken about free agent in the pro wrestling business, having recently departed WWE. And now, while discussing his WWE exit with Ariel Helwani, Kross has revealed he hasn’t spoken with anyone at AEW about joining the company, suggesting the fact that there is speculation online that he secretly resigned with the WWE has put the company off reaching out.
At one point, it seemed that anyone who had made a name for themselves in WWE would be welcomed by AEW with open arms. However, after the signings of Andrade, Rusev, and Aleister Black failed to live up to expectations, it’s now believed that Tony Khan is being far more selective with which former WWE stars he hires, meaning that AEW may not actually have any interest in Kross or his wife, Scarlett.
