Jerry Lawler Makes WWE Return During Raw Commercial Break (w/Video)

Following the deaths of Terry Funk and Bray Wyatt, the wrestling world has been crying out for some good news, which seemingly occurred during Raw when Jerry “The King” Lawler returned to WWE. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens would introduce Lawler during a commercial break, and while he wouldn’t take the mic, the hometown hero could clearly be seen thanking the Memphis crowd for their incredible reaction.

73-year-old Lawler suffered a second stroke this past February while he was staying at his Florida home. He would subsequently undergo surgery, and many feared for his long-term health, given his known heart issues. And while it is understood his recovery hasn’t been as speedy as hoped, with him having to cancel meet and greets in recent months, it now looks like the worst is over for the WWE Hall of Famer.
