It’s been almost a year since Dexter Lumis last wrestled a match for WWE, yet he has remained employed. And now, ahead of his rumored return to WWE television as part of Uncle Howdy’s new stable, Fightful has shared a photo of the former TNA wrestler on X sporting a full beard rather than just his trademark mustache.
WWE previously released the American Psycho-inspired wrestler on April 29, 2022, due to budget cuts and the fact he’d aged out of NXT 2.0. Subsequently, he would return to the indies under his real name, Samuel Shaw, although this would be short-lived. That is because once Triple H was given hiring power, he quickly re-signed Lumis and almost immediately put him on the main roster, seemingly seeing him as a potential star.
