GoFundMe Launched For John Klinger’s Family

Earlier this week, the wrestling community was devastated by the death of 40-year-old German pro wrestler John Klinger. This tragic news was shared by Westside Xtreme Wrestling on Monday, and since then, social media has been flooded with tributes from wrestlers across various promotions who had the privilege of knowing him. And now, in an effort to support his grieving widow and sons during this difficult time, a GoFundMe has been launched.

The majority of Klinger’s pro wrestling career was spent wrestling in Europe. However, he would sporadically compete in the US and Japan, performing for TNA, Big Japan, CZW, and EVOLVE at various times. Unfortunately, he would never achieve his goal of signing a full-time contract with a major promotion, although he did get to share a ring with the likes of Bryan Danielson, Gunther, Samoa Joe, and even Kenta Kobashi without ever looking out of place.
