Vince McMahon turned 80 last week, and to celebrate this milestone birthday, he held a party where he spared no expense to ensure his guests were entertained by booking AC/DC and Kid Rock to perform. And now, a photograph taken at the party was posted on Instagram by Jerry Lawler, showing himself alongside The Miz, Maryse, Titus O’Neil, Drew McIntyre, and Sheamus. Still, it appears he shouldn’t have shared this, as he has since deleted it, leaving fans wondering whether he chose to do this himself or was instructed to.

Last year, it was reported that Lawler’s WWE deal had quietly been allowed to expire, which shocked many fans because he’d been a significant part of the promotion on and off since 1992. At the time, some experts suggested that this would never have happened if Vince McMahon were still in control of WWE, as he was close to Lawler. Still, it is understood that he remains connected to the company via a WWE Legends contract, which allows the company to use his likeness for merchandising purposes.
