Jade Cargill experienced her biggest fear during a high-stakes Fatal Four-Way Queen of the Ring qualifier on the June 12 episode of WWE SmackDown. After taking a top-rope superplex from Charlotte Flair and Sol Ruca, her wig came loose and partially slipped off in front of the live audience. The dominant star quickly adjusted it mid-match and continued wrestling without missing a beat. However, the embarrassing moment went viral, and Cargill later took to social media to say, “My wig won.”
From a college basketball standout and fitness model, Cargill has become one of wrestling’s most dominant forces. She made her mark in AEW in 2020, capturing the inaugural TBS Championship and holding it for a record 508 days. Since joining WWE in 2023, she has rapidly risen through the ranks, winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles with Bianca Belair, claiming the 2025 Queen of the Ring, and enjoying a 169-day reign as WWE Women’s Champion.
