GoFundMe Launched For Su Yung Following Horrific Chair Throwing Incident (w/Video)

Su Yung returned to the ring in 2022, having given birth to her and Rich Swann’s first child earlier in the year. Yet, while she has been re-building her career following motherhood, she has now been sidelined indefinitely after having a chair thrown into her face sideways during a match earlier this month.

This careless act resulted in the former Impact Wrestling star suffering a concussion, a fractured skull, and a broken nose. And now, with her medical bills mounting and her inability to work, a GoFundMe has been started with $2,129 raised so far towards a target of $10,000.

35-year-old Yung, real name Vannarah Swann, broke into the business in 2007 and signed a WWE developmental contract three years later. From there, she would work with names like Naomi, AJ Lee, and Rosa Mendes in FCW, although that wouldn’t work out for her, and she was released in 2011. Still, despite this setback, she continued to chase her pro wrestling dream and would eventually join Impact Wrestling, where she was twice Knockouts Champion.
