Further Details Of Bray Wyatt’s Death Reported

Windham Rotunda, known professionally as Bray Wyatt, passed away last week, and since then, wrestling fans have been mourning his death. And while initial reports regarding his passing didn’t contain the cause of death, it was later revealed the 36-year-old had suffered a heart attack stemming from a bout of COVID earlier in the year.

Now, further details have been shared regarding his final hours via TMZ, who have reported that the former WWE Champion died following an afternoon nap and sadly wasn’t wearing the external heart defibrillator that had been recommended to him following a hospitalization the prior week.

“In fact, just a week before he died, Windham was hospitalized for a heart issue. He had a follow-up appointment with doctors the morning he died and was advised to continue to wear an external heart defibrillator — a device designed to treat people experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. Though it’s not known if the device would have saved his life, investigators determined Windham was not wearing the defib at the time of his death … they later located it inside his vehicle parked in the driveway.”

Since his passing, virtually every WWE talent has paid tribute to Wyatt in their own way,  and it’s understood up to 15 members of WWE personnel went as far as to get his Firefly logo inked onto his bodies. This should go to show how much he meant to those who worked with him, and hopefully, over time, this outpouring of love will help his family, friends, and fans come to terms with his tragic passing.
