We reported 3 weeks ago that Kylie Rae had requested and received her release from AEW. Some sources said she was dealing with medical issues and that she could be finished with professional wrestling.
Well, things can quickly change in pro wrestling, and Kylie Rae returned to the indie scene on Saturday night wrestling her boyfriend Isaias Velazquez in an Intergender match as a short-notice replacement for Freelance Wrestling.

Her release from AEW could go down as one of wrestling’s great unsolved mysteries. It’s pure speculation on my part, but I expect an NDA was signed, so it’s dubious we’ll ever find out the real story.
