Kylie Rae Granted Her Release By AEW, Possibly Finished With Wrestling

Big things had been expected since Kylie Rae debuted for Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling promotion in 2016 and winning a title on her debut. Less than two years later, she already had her first WWE trial.

Kylie would go on to sign for AEW in 2019 and was treated as a big-deal signing from the start. It, therefore, came as somewhat of a surprise when AEW owner Tony Khan confirmed that she had requested and been granted her release.

Her AEW debut was at Double or Nothing in a losing effort against Nyla Rose, Awesome Kong, and Britt Baker. She was then booked on the Fyter Fest event against Leva Bates but was replaced before the show.

Very little is known at the moment about the reason for her requesting her release. There has been some speculation online about her status dating back to July when she stopped posting on Instagram and then deleted her Twitter account in August.

Some sources have claimed she is dealing with a severe medical issue and is possibly done with wrestling, although hopefully, that isn’t the case.
