While it had been rumored for some time, earlier this month, Abadon emotionally confirmed on X that their time with AEW was coming to an end, stating, “My heart is currently broken.” However, despite this career setback, the non-binary star has remained active on social media, hustling for bookings and promoting their popular Patreon account, which has now seen their latest photo drop garner plenty of attention on X.
Abadon, whose real name remains private, only entered the wrestling business in 2019 via the Rocky Mountain Pro Academy. And while this initially saw them become a regular feature on the Colorado indie scene, it wasn’t long before AEW management became aware and began working with the distinctive-looking rookie. Still, due to injuries and multiple stop-start pushes, matches for the self-proclaimed living dead girl in both AEW and ROH were few and far between, meaning many anticipated their departure.
