Andrade is back with AEW following his shock firing from WWE last month. And while many “Sickos” were thrilled to see him return, wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer has criticized the decision, noting that he had previously left the company under a cloud. Yet it appears this may not be the case, as the luchador has now taken to X to dispute this, telling Meltzer, “You talk too much sh*t without proof.”
65-year-old Meltzer’s reputation has recently become tarnished after he reported incorrect information, including announcing Afa Anoaʻi had died before his actual death. This and other incidents have prompted many people in the business to attack him, including JBL, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Billy Corgan, Thunder Rosa, Jim Cornette, Eric Bischoff, and Bruce Prichard. Still, this apparently doesn’t bother Meltzer, as, despite his detractors, it’s known that hundreds, if not thousands, of wrestling fans pay him $14.99 a month to read his opinions and follow his star rating system.
