Last year, news broke that Mercedes Moné was divorcing her husband of eight years, Sarath Ton. Yet, despite this coming as a massive surprise to many fans, it was later confirmed by Moné herself that they had actually separated all the way back in December 2020 but had decided to keep their separation private.
However, while it’s known Moné decided to put any thoughts of romance aside to focus on her career, fans are now speculating she is dating The Beast Mortos, formerly known as Black Taurus after he shared a photograph of them together on his Instagram Stories captained “In your arms, I find peace.”
33-year-old Moné signed with AEW in February 2024, with Tony Khan subsequently promoting the March 13, 2024, episode of Dynamite as “Big Bu$iness” to tease her debut, much like how they subtly advertised “The First Dance” around CM Punk. From there, the former WrestleMania main eventer would wrestle her first match for the company at Double or Nothing on May 26, 2024,defeating Willow Nightingale for the TBS Championship, which she still holds to the dismay of her haters.
