Ex-WWE NIL Signee AJ Ferrari Hit With Huge Bond In Shocking Assault Case

First Alert 6 has reported that Former Nebraska wrestler and ex-WWE NIL talent AJ Ferrari has appeared in Lancaster County Court following his arrest on an outstanding warrant. The 24-year-old has been charged with third-degree assault by strangulation of a pregnant woman, third-degree domestic violence assault, and first-degree false imprisonment from an alleged May incident. Prosecutors sought a $250,000 bond, but the judge set it at $200,000, requiring 10% to be posted. Additionally, Ferrari must have no contact with the alleged victim and is next scheduled to appear in court on August 13.

Ferrari, 24, is charged with third-degree assault by strangulation or suffocation of a pregnant woman, third-degree domestic violence assault and first-degree false imprisonment …The judge set Ferrari’s bond at 10% of $200,000. Albert “AJ” Ferrari, born July 24, 2001, in Allen, Texas, is one of America’s most decorated young amateur wrestlers. A standout at Oklahoma State, he won the 2021 NCAA Championship at 197 pounds as a true freshman while also claiming the Big 12 title. After transferring to Cal State Bakersfield, he posted a dominant 22-1 record in 2024-25, secured the Pac-12 Championship, and earned All-American honors with a third-place finish at the NCAA Championships. Ferrari would also be one of the original athletes in WWE’s Next In Line (NIL) program, though he is no longer affiliated with the company.
