Vince McMahon recently turned 80, and to celebrate, he held a birthday party which featured two of his favorite musical acts, AC/DC and Kid Rock performing. Yet while many WWE talents, past and present, were reported to be in attendance, Jerry Lawler seemingly broke protocol by sharing a photo on Instagram of himself alongside The Miz, Maryse, Titus O’Neil, Drew McIntyre, and Sheamus, which was quickly deleted.
Still those who attended the disgraced billionaire’s party have been heavily criticized on social media. And now, indicating he is fully aware of the backlash, McIntyre has declined to comment when a YouTuber asked about his decision to attend.
Following the horrifying details of Janel Grant’s lawsuit becoming known, McMahon was forced to step away from the spotlight, with some believing he would spend his remaining years out of public view. However, having been spotted at the Super Bowl, a New York Knicks game, and appearing as an interview participant for a Hulk Hogan documentary made by TMZ, it appears he doesn’t feel he needs to keep a low profile anymore. Therefore, some have speculated that it’s only a matter of time before he returns to WWE television, especially as Brock Lesnar, who was also implicated by Grant, was recently welcomed back by the WWE Universe.
