Drew Gulak Re-Signs With World Wrestling Entertainment

Following his defeat to Daniel Bryan on the May 15th episode of SmackDown, Drew Gulak departed WWE after he was unable to agree on a new contract with the company. Gulak had requested a pay increase, but WWE refused and subsequently pulled their offer.

Obviously, negotiations quickly resumed because we understand that Gulak has now re-signed with WWE, and is scheduled to appear on this week’s SmackDown.

It is unknown if he received the pay rise he requested in this new contract, but as he recently hired super-agent Barry Bloom to represent him, there is a strong possibility he did. Bloom is well known for negotiating great contracts for his clients, who include Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, Bill Goldberg, and Jim Ross, to name just a few. He also famously arranged Nash and Hall to have a favored nations clause in WCW, meaning that anyone whose salary surpassed theirs resulted in their pay being automatically increased to match.
