Dax Harwood And Cash Wheeler Make AEW Debuts And FTR Tag Team Name Meaning Confirmed

It wasn’t a case of if, but rather when the former WWE tag team previously known as The Revival would debut in AEW, and the inevitable happened during last night’s episode of Dynamite.

The duo, now known as Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler arrived in a truck at Daily’s Place following a match between The Young Bucks and Matt Hardy vs. Private Party and Joey Janela. After winning, The Young Bucks were jumped by The Butcher and The Blade, and Harwood and Wheeler would make the save. Afterward, though, the debuting pair would refuse handshakes from Matt and Nick, setting up a future match between the teams.

Later in the evening, AEWShop.com would confirm on Twitter that Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler would be going by the name FTR, but instead of standing for Fear The Revolt as expected, it would now mean F*ck The Rest.

The reason for the name change is likely due to Harwood and Wheeler being sent a cease and desist letter for their proposed use of The Revolt, a name very similar to the name used by Caleb Konley and Zane Riley on the indies for the past five years.
