WWE is a merchandising juggernaut, so it should come as little surprise that after WWEShop.com started selling t-shirts for CM Punk’s dog Larry, they are now selling plush replica toys of him. How well these will sell remains to be seen, but with the company having cashed in on cuddly versions of Matilda, Pharaoh, and even the wrestler Road Dogg, it seems they have the market research to know there is demand. At present, they’re selling for $39.99 and, unlike some new releases by the company, it’s ready to ship immediately.
Larry, named after The Wolf Man Larry Talbot, has been in Punk’s life for almost ten years after he and his wife, AJ Lee, adopted him from PAWS Chicago. From there, he became well-known to wrestling fans because Punk often talked about him during interviews and even brought him to shows in Chicago when he was with AEW. However, Larry is now becoming just as well known to WWE fans and will seemingly be immortalized forever, thanks to WWE’s willingness to turn him into a future collector’s item.
