CJ Perry is currently recuperating after undergoing surgery on her finger, which recently became infected and began to spread up her arm. And now the AEW star has revealed via an Instagram Reel that the cause of the alarming situation was “from getting a small splinter backstage at work this past Wednesday.” Additionally, she would share a gruesome image of her finger post-surgery, which can be viewed below but is not for the squeamish.
38-year-old Perry joined AEW three months ago, having been released by WWE in 2021, where she worked for eight years. Initially, following her debut at All Out, it was believed she would be working alongside her husband, Miro; however, instead, the current storyline is that she is managing Andrade El Idolo, which is upsetting her husband.
